DC with Grandpa

My grandpa is a World War II veteran.  He was a Ranger and climbed the wall on D Day!  He was one of 224 veterans from Wisconsin who went on the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight from Milwaukee to DC on Saturday, June 2.  We drove from BWI and went to try and meet up with my grandpa to surprise him.  Roberto dropped Brayden and I off at the WWII Memorial and he and Aliya went to park the car.  Aliya was still sleeping.  Brayden and I luckily found my grandpa as he and his guardian were heading back to the bus to go to their next stop the Lincoln Memorial.  Brayden and I walked down to the Lincoln Memorial to meet up with him again.  Roberto and Aliya made it with just a few minutes to spare before the veterans had to get back on the bus to their next stop over by Arlington National Cemetary.

There were two planes that went from Wisconsin to DC.  The veterans are in the blue shirts and the guardians are in red.
