Grandma's in Town

Grandma is in town to help take care of Aliya when the baby is born. While we are waiting for sprouty to make his/her appearance grandma has been having fun with Aliya. They've been reading books, playing with toys going for walks and hanging out. Aliya was even helping or not helping grandma fold laundry.

New Friends

Aliya met a new friend the other night - Campbell. The two cuties had lots of fun playing together. Aliya really seemed to like climbing in Campbell's big girl bed. Thanks for sharing your toys and bed!

After a fun-filled night of playing the girls were tuckered out. Sweet dreams!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter. We went to church in the morning and then over by the Cox's house for dinner along with the Schreibers. The girls had fun playing in the potted plant and the water. They were very messy, but really cute. After dinner, the girls had an egg hunt outside. The eggs were filled with treats, which they seemed to enjoy. It was a beautiful day so it was really nice to be outside and enjoying the weather.

Aliya, Mae and Violet after church. The three little girls actually sat pretty well for the pictures. They looked so pretty in their Easter dresses.

The first egg Aliya found Easter morning. She was quite excited about the treats inside her eggs. She found two eggs before church. She found a few more eggs after church. Aliya and Mae had an Easter egg hunt outside later in the afternoon. The girls seemed to have fun picking up the eggs and putting them in the baskets.

Aliya's New Room

Our big girl is now officially in her new bedroom. The night before Easter was her first official night in her new bed. She seems to really like her new space. I think she's drawn to the bright, cheery pink walls.

Vroom vroom

Aliya has her first car the "Cozy Coup." She loves crusing around the house and climbing in and out of the door. Her favorite new activity is climbing in and out of the car with her various toys. It's so cute.

Looks like the Cozy Coup ran out of gas so Aliya had to get out and help me push it back home.

Little Traveler

I couldn't help myself when I was at Target the other day and stumbled on this cute suitcase. Our little traveler can now use it when we travel. Her first very own suitcase!! She likes to push it around the house.
