9 months old

Our little man is already 9 months old.

Fun in the snow

Christmas Magic

On New Year's Eve we went to Christmas Magic. For all our Wisconsin readers, that's a York County park that is decorated with tons of lights and animations for Christmas. We've gone every year we've lived out here. Aliya really got a kick out of all the lights. She had a great time and Brayden just started at the lights. I like he liked it too.

NYC and Cake Boss

I'm still trying to catch up on postings... Between Christmas and New Year's we went to the NYC area for two days. We spent one afternoon in NYC wandering around. Times Square was bustling with people. They were starting to set up for New Year's Eve and parts of the stage were set up, but the ball was no where to be found. We also went to Carlos' Bakery in Hoboken, NJ and stood in line for two hours in the cold to by expensive treats, but it was fun! Carlos' Bakery is featured on the TV show Cake Boss. Here's some pics from our trip.

A tasty carrot cake from Carlos' Bakery. It was pricy, but really, really good.
Brayden was so excited to be at the bakery that he took a nap.

The line was huge. It was freezing outside and the line was long and slow moving, but we eventually made it in the bakery. We took turns warming up inside Walgreens. It was a long day, but the kiddos did great. They are such amazing little kids!

Aliya is all fired up to go get some yummy treats from the bakery. She likes to ride in the backpack. It was a win-win for us. She was contained and she loves it in there.

Aliya enjoyed NY style pizza in the big city.

Playing on the big piano at FAO Schwarz.

The Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center was beautiful all lit up at night.

Aliya and Brayden's first trip to NYC. We all had a great time!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas. We stayed out in PA and had a nice relaxing time playing with the kids. The Schreibers invited us over for Christmas Eve, which was a lot of fun. Aliya had fun playing with their daughter Mae and the adults enjoyed catching up with friends. We feel so blessed to have met such wonderful friends here that we are able to call our PA family!

Christmas Day was spent hanging out at home and playing with the kids and their new toys.

Aliya loves her tricycle from her auntie Annie and uncle Jeremy and rides it around the house. She also really likes the tinkerbell costume from her auntie Rosy and uncle Ken and wears that over everything. Santa Claus brought Aliya a "motorcycle." At least that's what she calls her purple bicycle. She came down the stairs Christmas morning and said she got a motorcycle. It's too cute! Apparently daddy says motorcycle more than we thought and she picked up on it.

Cute kids in matching jammies that daddy picked out for them.

Practicing singing on Christmas Eve before heading off to church. Even Brayden was working on his caroling.
