Cute kids

Badger kids. We went over by the neighbors to watch the Penn State game so the kids wore their Badger red and white - thanks grandma for the outfits!

Snuggle time!

Fun at a church festival. Aliya had her face painted, saw the animals, made a pumpkin art project and ate a cupcuke.

Silly kiddos!

Our little boy is already 5 months old.

Annie and Jeremy's Wedding

The happy couple. Congrats Annie and Jeremy! We love you guys!

Fathers of the bride and groom showing off their socks. Jeremy gave all the men in the wedding party striped socks to wear. By the end of the night all of the guys were showing off their socks.

Grandma and grandpa Ploeckelman won the anniversary dance - they've been married for 63 years!! Grandma Butzen caught the bouquet. She's been a widower for 30-plus years and danced with Jeremy's dad who caught the garter.

The great-grandparents.

Aliya had to make sure she stayed hydrated after the wedding. She loves her water bottles!

Annie and flower girl Kaylee - Jeremy's sister's little girl. Kaylee did a great job as a flower girl!

Trip to WI

Here's a few pictures from our trip back to Wisconsin. It was an exhausting, whirlwind week trying to see family and friends. The kids did great in the car. We did most of the driving over night while they were sleeping which made it a little bit easier on them.

Aliya and I went swimming at my parent's house one day. I even managed to go tubing, which was a lot of fun and something I haven't done in quite awhile. I definitely miss the lake!!

Aliya posing with Mary Kay Schwarz. She made Aliya's flower girl dress.
Auntie Blanca gave Aliya her first official hair cut!

Sarah and Brad met our little man.

We had Brayden's reaffirmation of baptism on Sunday, Aug. 22. His sponsors are our sisters - Annie, Blanca and Rosaida. Brayden did really well and just hung out during the ceremony. Aliya had more fun running around the church and playing with her cousin Isabel.

Pastor Mueller did the reaffirmation - he also baptized Aliya last year.
