2 month appt.

Our little man is already 2 months old, and he's growing like crazy. At his dr. appt. he weighed 16 pounds 1 ounce and is 24 3/4 inches. That puts him at the very top of the charts!

Brayden's baptism

Brayden was baptized on Father's Day - June 20, 2010 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in York. He was two months old on his baptism day. He was a very good little boy and didn't cry at all. Aliya also did really well! With it being a crazy summer and there not being a good opportunity for all of us to make it back to Wisconsin together until Annie's wedding in August we decided to baptize him in York now and will have a sponsor ceremony with our families back in Wisconsin at some point later in the year.

Jeb is our elder at church so he was able to introduce Brayden, which was really nice.

Bye Corolla, Hello Traverse

It was a sad day in the Rivera household when we sold the Corolla. It's been a great little car for us for many years and hopefully the new owner will enjoy it as much as we have. Auto Trader is great for anyone looking to sell a car. As much as I loved that car, it was time for it to go and time for us to get something bigger. Since we love to go on trips and drive to most places, the cars just weren't cutting it anymore. We just upgraded to the Chevy Traverse and are looking forward to our first road trip down to Virginia next week. Now we won't have to worry about not fitting everything in the trunk or having to put suitcases between the kids in the backseat. For anyone in the York area car shopping we had a great experience with Sutliff Chevrolvet up in Harrisburg. William was super nice!! I usually dread having to deal with car salesmen and talked with many that I didn't like throughout this whole process and finally found one who wasn't pushy and was really helpful!

Here's just a cute picture of Roberto and Brayden.

Siblings

Our cute kiddies were hanging out together and Aliya actually stayed next to little bro for a few seconds without trying to hit him. We are definitely making lots of progress! she loves to give her little brother kisses. It's so cute!

Brayden met lots of people on his whirl-wind weekend in Wisconsin. He had fun bonding with his grandpa who baby sat during all of the bride wedding festivities and grandpa had a great time with his new grandson. Thanks for babysitting dad!

Brayden met his soon-to-be uncle Jeremy and got to see his auntie Annie again.

Brayden struck a pose while hanging out with grandma.

Brayden enjoyed meeting his aunt Blanca and snuggling with her.

He had fun hanging out with Abuela again.

Cousin Isabel and aunt Rosaida also got in some cuddle time with our little man. Isabel is a great big cousin to her little cousins.

Brayden and the great-grand folks

Brayden met his great-grandparents for the first time on our trip back to Wisconsin. They had a great time meeting their new great-grandson. This brings the grand total for my Ploeckelman grandparents to six great-grand kids.

Great-grandpa enoyed meeting Brayden.

Great-grandma had fun snuggling with Brayden. He was so comfy in her arms he even fell asleep. He's a great little boy!

Brayden and I few back to Wisconsin for a quick weekend to help Annie celebrate her bridal shower and bachelorette party. It was a great weekend and Annie had a lot of fun, too.
