Daddy was feeding Aliya when she decided she wanted to help, so she took the bottle and fed herself.

Our little girl loves to suck on her fingers. They seem to be her favorite toy!

Aliya can't believe she is sitting up all by herself.

3 months old already!

Our little girl is getting more playful by the day. She smiles a lot and is getting so talkative. In the mornings she likes to tell us all about her dreams and when we pick her up from Lisa's house she tells us what she did during the day!

Back at work...

I went back to work on Tuesday, March 3rd... It's hard to be away from my little girl after spending a wonderful 12 weeks taking care of her. I am thankful to have been able to spend the last 12 weeks getting to know Aliya and watching her grow. It was great! But, now it's back to reality. We made it through the first week of it and all survived!

Aliya is having fun at Lisa's daycare. She is able to play with Mae and is making her first friend. We know that Aliya is in great hands, which makes it so much easier for me to be back at work.

Lori and Laura brought me flowers to help brighten up my first day back at work. Aliya and daddy also sent flowers. What a sweet little girl, she's already learning how to butter up mom! :o) Her daddy is teaching her well!

Aliya is starting to learn how to sit and likes spending time in her bumbo.

Remodeled Bathroom

We just finished having our master bathroom remodeled. The first three pictures show the old bathroom and the last picture is the finished bathroom. We are thrilled with how it turned out and it is sure nice to be able to use this bathroom again after having it out of commission for about two weeks.
